I am looking for a job in the IT industry, or at least something close...

I was wondering what are some of the best staffing agencies out there? I have been working with K-farce for a while but all they ever do is get my hopes up with flase promises and never come through with anything...

Thanks,

haha, yeah, they are supposedly the biggest and the best, but I'm looking for something a little more localized...

its not that I can't, lol.. I'm actually a very savvy internet user.. I was just hoping maybe he had a direct line of someone that helped him out personally.. ;)

It's not always the quality of the company but the quality of the people.

oh, one more thing SSpiro, a better search utility to use is www.theultimates.com its a portal for about 10 different white pages, yellow pages and email lookups (including a reverse telephone lookup) all in one spot. Hope that becomes useful to you, it's always been my favorite.

Thanks!

FYI I tried calling him and he only had jobs like cabling, unfortunately I have no experience in that area, oh well, thanks though.

Never hurts to learn.. better paying field (believe it or not)..

I was in IT for years, thought I'd always be in IT.. I finally got sick of the contract gigs and no large companies were hiring IT staff after the dot.com bust, so I thought I'd check out the other layers of the field (get it? - physical layer) and I absolutely love it..

And you learn so much more about networking and IT then you do in the actual IT field. Now IT guys depend on YOU, and as I said, it pays better. Been in the cabling industry for 3+ years now, and will never look back.

Actually, I used to work for CMC.

I really liked working there, but when they asked me if I could work for minimum wage until they had more money, I had to leave.

I don't know of any IT staffing company that hasn't been hit one way or another - especially for the smaller companies...
