Vary by job and what we have in - range from 6.00 on up - You call - go in in - fill out an application - they go over what they have - you decide what you want to do from there. No cost to you, only your time.

U wont get a job at home depot, they SUCK at hiring, i worked there last summer, and it took me 3 monthes to get hired, and they just had 3 people quit too, so they needed people, but they are just slow as hell, then this summer when i tried to get my job back after coming back from school, they told me i had to 100% reapply and go through the whole process again, even though they are desperate for people, sucks asssss

o ya SDP sucks ass too, training is laid back, u get on the floor, and i constantly get yelled at for BS, supervisor even monitored me, wrote me a bad review, so i asked him to listen to what he heard, AND IT WASNT EVEN ME, it was another nick, that job seriously SUCKS

I worked at call solutions from like october 01 to december 01.... that was prolly best telemarketing job i had, seting your own ours kicked ass

also temp agencies isnt really the thing you want to be doing as a kid, you dont have any real skills, so most of it is mindless labor, like data entry, filing, or running machines.... 8 hours a day on that kind of stuff is enough to make anyone go nuts

but GL with job search, im 19 and lookin for a job too

compUSA called me back and i might get a job there as a "coordinator" with a base pay of 8.00 working 9-6 mon-fri, it comes out to 1500 a month, and u also get commisions if u sell extended warranties and shit on the products... u should try going in there...

Actually you are wrong here - during an economic recovery - many companies go to temporary companies because they don't have the resources (like HR people) to hire people.

I recommend to many folks that you explore all your options - network (ie talk to people you know) look at job boards (like this, monster, career builder, fl career link), newspaper want ads, and temporary and full time agencies. I have a few clients that no longer hire people off the street - the ONLY way you will get a job there is if you go through a temporary service - they like to try before they buy - 90 days on a temporary payroll, then convert to their payroll.

Did you know in most parts of europe 20-30 percent of the jobs are covered by temporary companies? Here it's about 3%...

Well im sorry, I must have gone to a bad temp place. When I went in there (other place, not yours), I talked to them about job history, what kind of skills I had, and basically everything they had for me was telemarketing, filing, mcdonalds or something else along those lines for 6$ an hour. Maybe I'll give them a call, thanks.
