Check around on here and Monster. CitiGroup and Progressive are always hiring. Monster is a great resource to check out, especially for what you are looking for. Just select Tampa, FLorida as your location and search under Customer Service/Call Center and you'll find alot of opportunities under there.

I work @ ALLTEL's call center in NetPark. I make $12.47/hr + comission on sales like features, contracts and accessories if I make a sale. You should check it out. 5 weeks of training 8-5...then you pick your shift. I've been there for almost 2 years.

They do have a few part time people...they all work days from what I can tell. Maybe that is pure coincidence, I'm not sure. Check out the careers tab @ www.alltel.com

is there any career advancement at alltel ? i've considered leaving progressive and going there to make a little more money but progressive is full of loads of opportunities like coaching, mentoring, management and etc. alot of diff avenues, i was j/w from an alltel employee if there's alot of advancement there?

Honestly, there isn't much opportunity for advancement. There are CSR's who have literally been there for 20 years...while it was GTE Wireless, through 360 communications, etc...never getting promoted. I just applied at Progressive on Monday, actually, due to no advancement with ALLTEL. The recruiters tell you that after 6 months you CAN apply to be a supervisor...what they leave out is that there is never a supervisor position available.
