Just wondering if any good companies hiring in tampa area, i work at Geico in lakeland ofice as a claims adj and wondering if any companies hiring in tampa area, i am about to move over there and dont want the drive abck to lakeland...If u could post what company and annual salary, thanx

Check out Progressive, I believe they have postings for Claims Adjusters pretty often.

progressive's min pay is 29.5k /year for claims rep ( adjuster ) but progressive adjusters are diff than geico, we have a whole different system. you would need a min of a bachelors degree or 5 years claims rep related experience. from what i've heard geico doesn't pay all that bad.

we are hiring clru, i'm sure it's a pay drop from what you're making but it's like 21k / yr starting and if the company does good which we are right now. you get 16% of your years earnings for gainshare in dec. :D

thanks i am making about 27k at geico right now i have been there 1 1/2 yrs, just looking for same pay or better..thanx though.

honestly, from what i've looked around for, i would suggest you just drive to lakeland every day if you want to move to tampa. lol

btw is geico hiring ? what's it take a be an adjuster there ?

geico i shiring all the time for claims positions, the basic entry level csr claims adj is paying 25,500 annual salary, and profit sharing....I f u have college degree associate or bachelor you can start at liabilty adj, which take recorded interviews, they make 31,500 annual salary, the geico field adjs which actually go out and take pics and adjust vehicle damage they make 32,000 annual salary, great place to work actually nice place, good environment...i would recommend it to anyone..

try progressive....i work there, it's a nice place--good benefits and such.
