Try hitting up somewhere like Sports Authority. Figured you'd maybe like this since you seem to be into hockey. It was a great high school job for me and I was making more than the majority of people I went to school with.
I believe they started me out at $7.50/hour, and I got promoted pretty quickly for the time I was there. I capped out at around $10.00/hour before I left. Little bit of advice, try getting into something like the footwear or specific sport department. DO NOT get stuck in appareal. They pay you less there and it's bitch work, having to sort out all of the different appareal items. I worked in the foot wear department and it was easy as hell. Just get the pair of sneakers someone wants, lace them up for them and hand it over to them so they can try it on. You also get commissions off the shows you sell, but it's really low. I think it's like 1% of whatever the sneaker cost is. So for example, someone comes in and wants to buy a $100.00 pair of sneakers, you simply put your commission sticker on the outside of their box before they go to cash out and you get credit for it, in this instance. ($7.50+ 1% of $100.00, which equals $1.00), so in total you've made $8.50 for that hour. Christmas and summer time are good times to make some decent commissions.
You get other good things there too, employee discounts, discounts to restaurants, etc. Oh yea, they'll usually work with your school schedule too.
Other places I'd suggest would be like Office Depot, Staples, etc. Yea, retail sucks, but it beats the shit out of working at a car wash or flipping burgers and making less money while busting your ass more. You won't get much better while still in high school.
