Did they have a competitor that everyone is going to now?

well, best buy is usually REALLY expensive, CompUSA you can forget about because they're worse than best buy. There's a place that's close to LanMinez (it's actually part of the same building) called IntoLAN or something but they're comparable to TCWO and are local (at least for me). If you want good prices and are willing to wait a few days then just get it from Newegg.com.

O.k. I like having cash and paying for a product that I want and actuallygetting it right then. Call it instant gratification, whatever. When shit breaks you know what I'm talking about...

So enough with the new egg shit. Where are the good computer parts dealers? And I'm not talking microstar, I mean like TCWO sized warehouse, they can't possibly have been the ONLY ones in Tampa.

Since TCWO is closed, there is another wholesale company that opened called Zone Red in Saint Petersburg off 4st N. with another location in Dunedin www.zonered.com I go through them for all my computer parts and they're just as competitve as TCWo was, if not cheaper. Ask for Mike and he'll hook ya up.

Let me know if anyone knows of other wholesellers that can compete with ZR, TCWO and the "Egg sites."

there ALOT cheaper than tcwo was because there a wholesaler, downside is you need to set up an account and need a tax ID #. or someones you can use. you can pay sales tax there just need an account. PM me if your serious and/or buy alot and i can get you set up there.

www.pricewatch.com is a good place to, just check out the vendors feedback or if they dont have any check www.resellerratings.com

+1 if you are able to set up an account with them. I have bought tens of thousands of dollars of equipment from them and have been pleased with their service and prices.

I thought I'd just add to this thread that they are not closed, but they have changed their name. It is Now "DanMart" They have tons of other consumer electronics now and some of their old inventory from TCWO.

I got a killer deal on a brand new sub that retails over 199 for $10!!

They have a lot of great deals like that going on. They have a lot of jusnk too, but most of their good stuff is on the e-bay.

inside rip off is why..

More stuff going out the back door then going out the front door

One of my delivery guys delivers for TCWO sometimes and one of the guys told him what happened... and they wouldnt need him anymore.

Oh well, no big hurt to me, i still get stuff cheaper elsewhere.

Bleh - I lived right down the street from that store for about 4 years. The prices aren't all that great, and they didn't have a lot of stuff in stock at times, because they keep that business seperate from their mail order business.

Yes I got a few decent deals, but nothing to wright home about.
