fuck that i worked for tire kingdom for a year and a half in dunedin and it sucked, they fired me for being on workers comp to damn long. i was on it for a month because i had to do 6 tires on a rv. don't work for them come to allied, all the tire kingdom people are comming over to us now because of how much it sux. we start you off anywhere in between 9-12 an hour. plus we are oned by goodyear so you get some bad ass benifits.

well that all depends on if the shop is busy which tk is not anymore after aot of tk guys left and came over to allied. we took most of the business. and if you don't have any exp. and it takes a while to train you, you won't make shit. you will ned up making about $220-320 a week

Damn, I worked for tirekingdom on dale mabry about ten years ago. I started out making 5.50 an hour, I can believe they still pay tire techs the same as they did almost 10 tears ogo. Wow, that really sux. Guess inflation means nothing to the king! My benefits from working there were things like balancing my own tires, and picking through the used tires to put on my friends cars. Now Im older and realise a pay check that is more than the food I eat every week is more important than perfectly balanced tires. IMO.

I dont see how they pay 5.50 when min wage is now 6.15, and even if it is min wage what he is saying is for every job u do u get commision so u end up makin like 9-12$ hr depending on how hard u work and what kind of work u do.

Least we at allied are now owned and operated by goodyear. goodyear aquired allied as part of thier purchasing DUNLOP 4 years ago, and have recently actively started taking over and changing the way things run,, for the better. mandatory Hair testing for drugs, minimum 18 years of age, background/dmv check.. no dui`s.. goodyear does not hire rejects. starting pay for general service is 7.00/8.00 an hour based on exp. Techs make upwards of 13/14 an hour min.

You people are retarded, i have a friend that works at tire kingdom and he takes home 400 every week only working about 35 hours a week as a tire tech....
