Julian Beever is an english artist who’s famous for his art on the pavement of england, France, germany, usa, australia and belgium. It’s particularity? Beever gives to his drawing an anamorphose, his images are drawn completely diforms which give a 3D image when viewing on the right angle … see for yourself it’s amazing !!!

This drawing of "Rescue" was to be viewed using an inverting mirror.

His creations are all about the angles at which you view them, as you can see from the following two pictures. The first one is a picture at the wrong angle.

I've always liked his work. I haven't ever seen the pictures viewed at the wrong angle. That's really neat. You can put it into better perspective that way.

anyone know what he uses to draw all that? i cant imagine he'd use chalk?

I saw that in an email at work...it's so awesome and difference...i am not sure ... looks like chalk still (concrete) cuz it's a far away pic too so we can't really tell

from the looks of his hands and from what i can see in the box, it looks like chalks.

Yea its chalk you can see it bottom right on the first picture with the coke bottle

from the looks of it i would guess they're done in oil rather than dry (chalk) pastel.

that guy has some serious art talent.

Although on another note, I seriously hate the feel of chalk, I was so glad when they put in dry erase markers in schools
