i used to play until JTLS. I was on kettemoor. Master DR / Master Merchant (was Master TKM) - Dr Eyedun Geddit. I quit when it got too difficult to run my business - I owned and ran about 6 shops, specialising in stuff to help newbies get started. I became quite famous by starting a shop 800m from Mos Eisley when that was the onlynewbie starting city and buying anything and everything from the newbies to help them get started. I then made that stuff into stuff to sell back to them pretty cheaply. I was most oftem found sitting ontop of my Bantha Bob outside the starport advertising, or in other starports advertising my 2500+ buffs for 25K in my VIP Express Line.. hehe..

I had a 2nd char called Sirlutt Fahire who was a Master TKM / Master Swordsman.. he was most often found running an auto loot/attack macro in the genosian caves after bugging the spawn.. made a TON of money from that place ... i was doing the new force sensitive stuff wit him and grinding jedi XP.

I quit because Sony wasnt making any decent updates to the game.. the combat was rediculously easy.. being a merchant running 6 shops was tough when you could only list 1 item at a time.. putting 4000 items up took 3 or 4 days of boring work.

I moved to EQ2 and couldnt be happier.. much much nicer game.. and they actually fix and improve stuff.. Sony only cared about JTLS whic ruined the ground game anyow.

lol.. its pretty sucky these days.. you'll be all ooh and ahh for about 2 months until alot of the serious shortcomings of the game hit you.. the fact that unless you spend 8-16 hours a day at it you wont get the uber gear you need to PvP.. the economy is built around making the rich richer and the poor poorer..

becoming a jedi is a fulltime job for at least 6 months.. to finnally get there and realise its justnot worth it..

not to mention a "quest" is go to x,y,z .. kill 4-5 mobs and a "flag" and go back to get 100 credits.... rinse and repeat.. a million billion times.

i gave away 390 million credits when i left the game.. and my char still has a whole bunch of sit and credits on him.. havent logged him in in over 6 months though.

Dude, since the combaty upgrade and rise of the wookies shi8t has got alot better....im telling you, its good shit.
