Mmmm, Dim Sum

Hey just wanted everyone to know that if they're looking for a good Dim Sum restaurant, they should definately check out Ho Ho Choys. It's located on Fletcher and 15th St, and just opened this weekend. They were previously on the corner of Fletcher and N. Dale Mabry, but had to move bc it was bought out by Lowe's. Anyways, for those who don't know what dim sum is, they're appetizer sized dishes of dumplings, fried, steamed or broiled, with almost anything you could imagine. I guess it's kind of like tapas. We had 8 dishes with a large order of stir fried rice noodles and tea for 3, the bill was $40 including tip. :bigthumb:

I posted about Ho Ho's in the best asian food thread. I heard this weekend that they moved. I LOVE dim sum (not the crazy shit like chicken feet or anything). Some friends and I used to hit that place for lunch ALOT. Get a table full of curry singapore noodles, pork shu mei, shrimp dumplings, etc.

Damn, now I'm in the mood for some :D

I didn't know of any Dim sum places in St. Pete. Let me know if there are any, I'm sure my parents would love to go, as opposed to coming to North Tampa with me. I just go to Ho Ho choy's and TC choys on Howard. Those are my favs and pretty cheap too.

i used to go visit ho ho choy with my parents, but the couple times we went there, the food wasn't fresh. i love shu mai (personal record of 8 orders in one sitting) and the last time i went they were sour and bad.

personally, i go to this place in ft myers now. or orlando. orlando always have good chinese
