Cafe Kolao on 49th Street. Best, "ethnic," food in Tampa, period. Some of the guys I work with used to eat at La Teresita and have since converted.

Seriously....you the BIGGEST fucking meal at La Teresita for under 6 bucks. Best food ever.

for all those that said La teresita....shame on you!!!! Nastiest, cooky cutter, spanish food around.(its the mcdonalds of spanish/cuban food. "Antioquenas" on waters and armenia will blow your socks off!!! white rice and red beans > black beans and yellow rice.

Columbia in Ybor if you're ballin and Pepe's on Hillsborough Ave east of Hanley if you're ballin on a budget.

Pipos is way too salty and La Teresita is like Cuban fastfood.

what ever resturant makes black beans with yellow rice sucks, black are to be made with white rice! At least thats how real Cubans do it.
