until I lose 10 pounds of body fat. This will put me at 178 which was my fighting weight when I used to train. With the good eating habits I have and the gym/cardio + lifestyle this shouldn't take long. Not to mention it is way too expensive for me to go out and get drunk. Tolerance>Wallet.

There were some good article posted in this forum about what alcohol does to muscle, especially in regards to trying to work out. Check it out, good read.

Right there. That article is good.
I never realized how bad alckie is for you, if you're trying to lose weight.

I've got no intention of stopping but I have cut back alot. Donnie and I were having this discussion one night at QSL (while I was drinking a beer no less) and like I said that night...when I'm active and doing physical activities I don't have the desire to drink, as opposed to trying to limit my alcohol while I work out (it just doesn't work that way for me).
It's the same way with my eating habits...when I'm doing something healty it tends to spill over into other areas of my life.

My problem is that I don't desire to drink really anything daily. When i do drink it's like 12 beers to get me warm inside and between 18 to 24 if I want to get drunk. I thing that is limiting my ability to get these last few pounds off. :tard: 1 or 2 beers does nothing so I would rather drink water.

Yeah, same way here...I never sit down and think "I'm going to have a beer to relax". When I drink I'm in it for the long haul...

I have a solution, since it seems as though your problem is that you drink to get drunk and you have to drink too much in order to get the warm and fuzzies, why dont you pop a cocktail of meds and then drink a couple of mic ultras? The combo should work well.....
You can thank me later.

terry, call me when you're cool again:lol:
seriously though, went to the gym after getting outrageously crunked last night. i don't get hangovers (thank god), but my body was so tired that i had a pretty shitty work-out. oh well, at least i got in there and pushed myself, that's all that matters.
