Talking about vehicles ;)

Suppose you had $10K to spend on your vehicle of choice (car, truck, bike, etc.)... where do you spend it?

Do you dump it in performance mods... or Do you go with Bling?

And at what point to you transition from one focus (looks & performance) to another (assuming you do)?

10k really isnt much these days but if it was my choice and I had an extra 10k around I would go with a Ek9 (2000 body and year) hatch and buy it from some old lady for cheap and say if I got for four grand then I would put some hx wheels that are powder coated color of the car with a black lip (hoping car is white) drop it with a good setup but not 2 costly, then carbon fiber hood wing trunk mugen lip and rear lip also. Then 2 the engine this is where the rest of my cash would be spent I would pull the d16y8 sell it and use that money for my engine also lol so the big question what swap will I do hmmmmm this is hard How about a built gsr swap from top 2 bottom hoping some one else built it and I can save some money then I would supercharge the motor just because u dont see it every day and y the hell not lol. Then 2 the golden arches with the few dollars I still have and see if I can get some double cheese burgers lol....

I opted to forgo visual enhancements and throw funds at performance related mods.
It's a lot cheaper wth mototrcycles, vs a car.
And as stated above... $10K does not go far.

$3K - $6K you an have the parts needed to build a pretty decent motor.
$1K - $3K for tranny and clutch work.
$4K - $10K for a Turbo System.
$1K - $4K on Electronics and Controllers

My current project bike is far from complete... but well underway.
To date... zero funds spend on bling...
I figure after the perforance mods are adequate, I will got with aftermarket skins and paint.

Definatley performance and then once you whoop the shit outta everybody in site who thinks your piece of crap looking car can't run and take all their money then you use that to trick out the outside.

10k is alot of money when you spend it wisely...
I'd go performance, with cosmetics to get the shiro moving.
Since she has frame damage, that would be the cosmetics, but since I have a doner car and replacements then it would only cost price of the frame strecher and/or welding. Then add a nice thick coat of white pearl... ouch thats gonna be the biggest wallet hit.
Then we move to the engine bay
hmmm, I guess it would also get me intercooler, piping, radiator, standalone, wastegate, bov, misc. engine crap.
Whats left would go to tt brakes, s14 coilovers, hell might as well get an r32 entire rear subframe.

with the one grand I predict I might have left over, I'd buy a triple plate clutch for my isuzu from Japan.

I would start w/ a 91 DSM GST, then put rims lower in then go perfomance, liek bigger turbo big 16g, front mount intercooler, bored pistons, shaved head, of course exhaust (3in no cat) n 3-4in down pipe, thats all around 10-11k
