Well the lighting is horrible in the apt. and my eyes are a tad tired so I can't seem to get the focus down on my manual zenitar lens but ah well. Here's my lab and another shot of my parent's dog I took a pic of awhile back...

Cute dogs. I find animals practically impossible to capture. The only semi-decent pictures I've shot of our cats are when they are sleeping, I catch them by suprise, or just get a decent shot by pure dumb luck.

Nahhh, you gotta get it where they look like they have a big head and little body. My fisheye isn't that great but it gets the look I need most of the time.

Well, that's a valiant attempt, you did accomplish the look, but not as over the top as the ones in the store. I sincerely think they do some serious photoshopping, but I could be wrong. It just seems way too big of a head and way to small of a body to come about that naturally with just a camera.

I am mistaken, I've been informed, it might be possible with a macro fisheye lens.

I've also been informed that Wegman, the famous Weimeraner photographer has achieved this look as well.

Here's one of his works, I'm guessing it only works for patient dogs, my cat will kill anyone near if you try and put clothes on her.
