The kind people at Chase were kind enough to extend a 0% till Nov 2006 offer to me on purchase, balance xfers, and cash advances. The only catch is a 3% of transfer($75 max) fee on balance xfers and cash advances.
Anyone one have a clever way to funnel this to my checking account or elsewhere as a "purchase transaction" to avoid the fee? Paypal payment to myself and dump in checking account maybe? I don't see any fees listed to receive $ on a "personal account" only business.

Same here........typically Citi and others never charge a fee, but 0% till 11/06=I'll try to figure out a workaround:)

SOME gas stations will allow you to purchase money orders on credit cards. purchase the MO from card with 0%, deposit MO in bank, pay CC with higher interest rate.

I have done this with my CC but it was for getting extra frequent flyer miles.
The Publix near me would let me get away with it for a while then they stopped after I had purchased a thousand or two in money orders.

I dont know what place would allow you to pay for a money order with a credit card.. because vendors lose 2-3% of every sale paid with credit... That's losing $50 on a $2500 money order for the vendor.
