I just watched this movie for the first time. I have no words to discribe this movie..

This movie was beyond fucked up. Hardly any movies get to me but, this one did.

I'm at a loss of words.

Discuss your opinion on this movie.

Ah yes, Requiem for a Dream. Talk about a real shocker movie. I LOVE movies that leave you in shock. I did indeed love this movie. Sarah Goldfar or whoever was becoming annoying after awhile, but man what a great movie. Not sure how it is compared to real life drug abusers, but the ending left my jaw hanging.

great fucking movie. soundtrack is killer too, the chronos quartet or whoever the fuck did a great job on that. the only movie that i literally felt dirty after seeing... christ what a depressing ending.

i remember years ago, after watching requiem for the first time, thinking that the hype it receieves must mostly be due to the shock factor it invokes. granted it was, most definitely, weird, in every sense of the word (and i like that)... but i cant' say that it's one of my favorites.

I don't see how this movie is anybody's favorite. I couldn't watch that movie again. :dunno:

there are bandwagon fans (maybe a few legitimate ones also) who would be out for blood after a comment like that.

it's not necessarily anyone's favorite because of the content, but mainly because the moral of the movie is so good. i liked it so much because i just felt the plot of the movie was great. i don't know, i thought it was well-written. besides, i like fucked up movies :dunno:

I figured it would take more than 1 time to watch it to fully understand it. :dunno:

One of my FAVORITE movies. I love how it's set up with the split screens, etc.
