Digital Camcorder recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good digital camera? I've been to buydig.com I'm just curious of your opinions.

I LOVE my MiniDV...Awesome camera,plus the "nightshot" is in color,it's just slows/blurrs out whenever you move around..But its definitely a AWESOME camera.

I've only used a sony VX1000 and VX2000... they're both great, but you might be paying for more than what you need. The 3 chip drives the price (and the image quality) up.
