Yesterday my best friend and I were window shopping at International Plaza, and I hadnt eaten since 2 o clock the day before, he was hungry as well. We passed the food court and headed for Bay Street to try something new. We picked Champps Bar and Grill. The Prices were about on par with Bennigans, Codys, Chillis etc...
Nice and spacious inside, cute servers that were really friendly. Our server was a delicious Colombian named Stephanie who had been here for 4 years. Nice accent btw. She laid out the specials for us, gave us a history on the bar whens he found out it was our first time. We wer told the soups of the day, one of which was a like a southwester creme of corn topped with nachos. We ordered a bowl along with our meals. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwhich with Champp fries(basically Chik-Fila waffle fries) My friend had ordered the Bread crusted Chicken Paramesean with pasta.
The soup was espeically tasty, a bit on the spicey side for me, but the taste was worth it. In fact I could for a crock to bring home it was good. Then our meals came, but in between that, our server had been back twice to talk and and amke sure our soup was fine. My sandwhich was a quite a but on the spicy side, but was meat was very moist and tender and ripped apart easily, the fries were excellent as well. My friends entree was stacked well. It included 3 good size pieces of chicken stacked over pasta with toast. It was indeed a very healthy proportion meal to it, but he ate it all. I couldnt finish all my chicken I was already full for some reason half way thru it, so I brought the rest home.
The thing that impressed me the most was the service. Never had a server come to check on us so much in a short time span.
So Champps from me gets a AA+ Service, A+ for tasty food, A for price
