i've personally gotten big into lamb of god's new album recently, amazed i'd never really listened to it previously. also been listening to darkest hour... pretty good cd, little on the light side for my taste though.

I have been getting into Lamb of God's new CD as well. I have been really impressed with Bleeding Through's last album as well.

also been listening to gizmachi's cd "the imbuing" off and on... i want so badly to like it, but i just don't know how to feel about it yet. it's one of those multiple listen type cd's.

The Burning Season and The Receiving End of Sirens
Those two bands have been in heavy rotation for me for quite some time.

The Receiving End of Sirens
i just checked them out on purevolume after seeing your post in the other thread. you're right, good stuff.
I have been listening to Bella Lea a lot lately. It is really mellow in comparison to everything else that I listen to, but if you like Denali maybe you will like this.

Scary Kids' old stuff is so much better. :( I saw them at Warped though. They put on an insanely high energy show.

i've been doing a lot of that too, started listening to machine head's older cd's, burn my eyes, etc. rediscovered fear factory a few months back, listening to primus' older stuff, and what not.

They're a band that practices a few places down from our shop, and starting to play shows more and more around the area. nice rock sound, kinda godsmackish/sevendustish sounding with a better singer. I'm going to be helping them out during the recording of their debut this month.

chevelle, i can't really get sick of just letting the cd play through every song. I like them all. I still listen to the wonder whats next. I like them both. The last album they just came out with is better. Its actually cd's I bought that I like all the songs and not a selective few.

trivium sucked big donkey dick while they were local in orlando. their first (self released) album sounded like whiny and nonsensical 80's rock.
their new album on roadrunner however is pretty damn super. i think mainstream production helped them out something fierce. i'm looking forward to seeing what matt has brought to the roadrunner united cd. should be cool.
EDIT: i posted a thread about ascendancy a while back http://www.tampaforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220070&highlight=trivium
