+1. I know they ARE real cars, but they look fake.

This picture I like with the exception of it would look much better if it were pulled forward or cropped tighter to get the window sills and hand rail out of the picture. Other than that I am liking the lighting and general composition.

A little tighter crop and this too would work for me.

As far as the black hatch, I have no idea whats going on with this car as both you and Midori have the same sharpness issue. Granted, a black car with black wheels is hard to shoot, but there needs to be more definition.

This is my favorite picture from the set, and partially due towards my bias to rwd cars but also because overall I think its the best composed picture. Very nice.

Here the angle makes the SI look like a minivan. Not exactly flattering.

Your composition is a little loose. It is fine to shoot environmental portraits of cars providing the environment in which they are placed is attractive. I dont think this was the case here. In this case I would have cropped most of the pictures tighter to get rid of the cluttered backgrounds, signs, other cars, etc. If I were you I would follow your friend, midorigreen, around the next time you shoot cars. He seems to have his composition down pretty good. Observe the angles and distances he uses, then imitate them. This should help your composition. Also, close the car doors before shooting them. And dont shoot the backs of those civics, they are bulbous. The front is much more attractive.

I see what you were trying to do with this shot. No offense, but, this type of shot really only works if the background cars are as cool as the foreground car; or if the backgound cars are positioned in such a way that they look like they are intentionally there. In this shot they just look like some parked cars in the background. Try positioning them a little differently next time.

Just keep practicing and you will keep getting better. You are off to a good start though.
