PartyPoker (http://partypoker.com/) - Biggest Poker site online. Rake is high. Get ready to be sucked out by a fish who will call anything. Interface is simple but nice. Rating: 6/10

EmpirePoker (http://empirepoker.com/) - This is PartyPoker's (http://partypoker.com/) sister site. All Ring and Single Table Tournaments are the same. Multi Table Tournaments are different. Rake is high. Also, be ready to be sucked out by a fish who catches the nuts on the turn or river. Interface is simple but nice. Rating: 7/10

PokerStars (http://pokerstars.com/) - The interface is ugly. Always has a decent amount of players on. The rake is cheap. Be ready to get sucked out on all ins on the river, it happens a lot. Rating: 8/10

PokerRoom (http://www.pokerroom.com/) - Nice interface. Always has a decent amount of players on. The rake is cheap. Very good site for Multi Table Tournaments. Rating: 8/10

FullTiltPoker (http://fulltiltpoker.com/) - Very nice interface. New site, not always a lot of players on. The rake is cheap. All around very good site. You can also customize the person you represent at the table. Rating: 9/10

RoyalVegasPoker (http://royalvegaspoker.com/) - Free $10 just for signing up. You do not have to deposit money, just wait 24 hours for your free $10. Interface is ugly. Very good site for Multi Table Tournaments. The rake is cheap. Always a decent amount of players on. Rating: 7/10

ParadisePoker (http://www.paradisepoker.com/) - Not very big. The rake is higher than most. Interface is ugly. The sounds are annoying. Not many players online. Horrible for Multi Table Tournaments. Rating: 4/10

BodogPoker (http://bodog.com/poker/) - Online gambling site that created a poker program also. Decent interface. Very good for Multi Table Tournaments. The rake is average. Rating: 7/10

I play at Ultimate Bet (www.ultimatebet.com) a lot. I don't play cash games too often, but they always have a lot of players online and tons of Sit N Go's and Multi Table Tournaments available. Interface is simple, I wish there were more skins for it.

Have also played at Full Tilt and didn't care for it much

Neither, I use www.firepay.com to transfer money from my bank account for a small fee. :D

It appears that each site excepts several types of payment method. However, I haven't seen one that takes paypal.

If you select "deposit real money" a list of options will pop up.

Do you not have a CC or not choose to use it in this situation. Do you suggest this as the safer/better method?

I rather use the money I have then go in dept. and put it on a credit card.

a lot of the time, your credit card will be declined b/c your company wont allow it to be used on a "gambling" site. i just use neteller

so would a tracking and check number be sufficient from a checking account?

When I said CC, I really meant Debt Card. I don't have a CC either and planned to use my check card.

I like Neteller but they charge more for the more you take out, FirePay is a flat fee of $3.99.

If you're using FirePay? All you need is your account number and routing number.

Like VQ35DE said, most Banks and CC companies decline you to gambling websites.
