bad beats? lol... ive gotten plenty of those. one of the worse ones i tooks was:

Me: AQ suited spades
Him: 109 off suite

theres 6 people at the table. i raise it pre flop on the buttom. i tripled big blind which was 10 to 30 chips. he was big blind so everyone folds but he called.
FLOP: 10 7 4 *all spades*

i hit my nut flush on the flop. he has high pair so he bets 20, i reraise all in to 150. he thinks about it for about 30 seconds then calls. i find out that 1 other 10 is out and so is 1of his 9s. so he has 3 shots of winning which statistically, he is pretty much drawing to hopes and dreams
TURN: 9 RIVER: 10

thats right folks.... 3 outs in an entire deck of cards and he sucks 2 of them to beat my NUT FLUSH! needless to say i was pissed but after the turn card came out, i seen it coming.

this one isn't a bad beat, but made me want to cry nonetheless.

i'm holding an ace-four. between the flop and the turn, three jacks are showing. a four comes up on the river. there are three of us in. the first kid shows queen-four, the second kid shows king-four, and obviouly i show my ace-four.

here's the dumb part.

none of us realize what we have and we're all wishing we hadn't played it this far. kid number one thinks he's got a pair of fours, queen high, and kid number two thinks he has a pair of fours, king high. i reach for the pot (because my pair of fours, ace high wins it).

finally one of the observers notices we're all holding the same full house - jacks and fours. split pot.

Other player goes all in preflop with QQ. My GF calls with A7 offsuit (not the best call but she felt it :dunno: Flop comes out Q J 10 all different suits. Next card is a 2. Then the river is a K to give my gf a straight to beat the set of Qs the other player flopped. I actually almost felt bad for them ;)

I started with 20$ and kept climbing little by little playing conservative till I was in 200$ then I got this hand of 6 A . the flop comes with a 6 6 3, and I'm
raise lightly like pretending that I'm buying the pot but this dude reraise me and I called. the turn is a 9 and nothing on the table close to a flush. I raise the dude reraise and I reraise again he called. Then the turn is an A. I got my full house. I raise and I got reraise and go almost all in and the dude called.

I couldn't believe when the cards were turned . he beat me with a full house 3 nines and pair of 6. haven't play since then. Before that beat I was losing money on other internet site so I was like I"m done , no more

I think it was A's (3 aces) full of 2's (2 2's on the board).....my other friend was dealt pockets 2's lol. the reaction was classic.

That is not a bad beat that is just being unlucky.

Colby ran into the same thing @ our home game. He had pocket 8s, Flop came 222. Colby pushed thinking his boat was the best hand, Adrian flipped over K2s. Just unlucky at that time, not a bad beat.
