Before I begin....
I write this blog as your unbiased Tampa Forums administrator despite of nation of origin, birth, sex, religion, political afiliation, and heritage.
As of lately I have noticed that there is a lot of negative bickering going around about the differences races, and as much I like to teach everyone here a history lesson of my own, I am not going to do so as we know times, along with society's point of view change dynamically. I am going to post a prime example of a very famous song for all of us to reflex on.
If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life, And I had to start again with just my children and my wife, I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today, 'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away.
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free, And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me, And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today, 'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee, Across the plains of Texas from sea to shining sea. From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A., There's pride in every American heart and it's time we stand and say:
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free, And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me, And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today, 'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.
As he mentioned , he won't forget the Men who died so he can have his right to be proud to be an American. He said men which includes, whites, blacks, hispanics, and asians who proudly wear that American flag on their soldiers uniform to protect our freedoms around the world so we can bitch about each others ethnicity mostly spewing out uneducated guesses and points of view that makes less sense than having Paris Hilton teach my 3 year old niece to program in C++.
We are in all of this together for life, it should not be a matter of Tolerance vs Acceptance but more about appreciating culture, embracing diversity,
Ignorance breeds Prejudice.
