View Full Version : Ruji: Automotive Photography - Pretty Impressive Work

So, I was talking with the "Zen Master" on IM the other night and he linked me to this photographer's website; Ruji. Upon perusing his online portfolio I must say that I am rather impressed with his work. Its pretty innovative if not a little overly dependant upon post processing in PS...but interesting all the same. I certainly am going to use it as an inspiration in some upcoming shoots we have with BMW's this weekend.

His modeling stuff however, is nice but nothing spectacular.

I have always admired his work. He has a very unique style, and I think that sets him apart from other automotive photographers.

you forgot to mention how much he charges to do a shoot w/ a car .... $2,500 PLUS airfare

I think it is far worth the $2500, they look like paintings. I really think these kind of photos really should be hanging in a museum somewhere, its the age of realism with digital cameras flying off shelves, and Ruji is making it art.

doesnt seem to be hurting for work .. though I think most of his "clients" are actual Car Companies and I believe he works for a magazine as well... forgot the name of it

His brain is definetly above the norm. An abudance of orginal ideas and compostions flowing out.

Damn, that is some nice work. I am almost inspired to go out and get a new job! Just kidding. Judging by the pics I have seen, he is definitely worth the $2500. In fact, if most of his clients are automotive companies, he is selling himself short at $2500.
