For me its interesting to view this sorta pics. Most photos I saw of these bands were on stage or cd layouts and were nothing like this. Most cd layouts were concert shots or some realyl dreary shot in front of a church with the members trying to look all evil. To me this shows a different side of Europe and the music just a little. I have a friends on Deviantart that are in Europe and shoot these bands at shows so this was a true treat to somethign different, I'll have to show them this link sometime.

I know the look isnt something most of you guys will understand, but its part of the music and the culture that surrounds it

The look IS something I understand...I was looking for this sort of theme last time I shot. Lighting, subjects, etc.

Its definately an interesting use of contrast thats for sure. Not exactly my cup of tea persay, but certainly very interesting.
