where can i check my credit for free.....

i know this may be a repost but i just want to know where i can check my credit score for free. i tried alot of sites but they ask for credit card numbers and bullshit. is there a site or a number i can call that will let me.....thx everyone.

i saw a comercial for it, it's on mtv quite often, jus like everything else on that damned channel...hahaha but look for the commercial it's for a website

Just apply for something you obviously can't get so you'll get denied. The Florida Fair Credit Act entitles you to a free credit report if you're denied credit for anything :D

and by doing an inquiry, you also lower your score. Not exactly free

I believe you can just write each bureau once per year to obtain your credit report. But it has to be in writing.

Checking your own credit report has no negative affect on your credit. Only when a 3rd party pulls your credit for loans/mortages/etc does the inquiry have any neg effect.

www.annualcreditreport.com as permitted by the new law. You don't have to apply for anything. If you want to see your FICO score, though, you'll have to pay for that part.
