USF oasis online...

Ive discovered that this online class registration is a goddamned joke and the advisors are almost as bad. I went to reschedule courses (they gave me 3 courses I took in HS), the guy apparently "didnt see" them on my AP grade sheet which clearly states the course and the grade.

He tried making me take oceanography, saying it was fun. Yea, screw that not with my tuition money buddy.

now Im on oasis... apparently every college is out of courses 100% or oasis server is down... again.

Just venting, very stressful. I am only registered for 3 classes because they dropped 2 at the office.... :mad:

Sounds about right :lol: Dont worry, its everywhere, not just USF. 2 weeks ago i went to my advisor, sat for 3 hours, for him to tell me I couldnt register for xyz classes, and he couldnt help me. Fantastic.

:lol: Yep that's USF for ya. It's a struggle getting the correct classes. That's one reason I'm behind.

yep, thats the way they get ya ready for the real world, they're trying to teach you to quit procrastinating...............or..............mayb e nothing has changed since I went there and they just don't offer enough classes for the # of students and you couldn't find anything in your major or non-core classes that interest you......or......... a little bit of both?

they dont offer many courses compared to the size of the student body. I actually preferred doing it myself b/c I could choose courses I liked its just a pain in the ass waiting for hours on end for someone to drop a class you need so you can pick it up.

That and the server screwd up, deleted my registration and I had to go down to the Tampa campus and have it all reset. That sucked. Now I have to get my email re-set up because they deleted that email address. I think its a problem they have set up with the new student numbers. New ones are no longer SSNs, but rather a random number starting with UXXXX...
