I'm still trying to get a grasp on shooting a model(s) with a car but I think these came out decent. Lighting conditions sucked...had to meter off the sky and hope that the flash could keep up with lighting up the models as well. At any rate, had a good time and can't wait for the next one with Rob, Laura, and Mike w/ Down Shift.

thanks. I still need to mess with them in photoshop to take out certain background elements but for the most part, there wasn't much done post processing wise. I might actually be learning how to take proper pictures without using photoshop lol.

Nice shots, #1 is probably my favorite. Like the comp. and sharpness

I didn't notice the second post with the girlies...here are my versions of a couple of the pics. I tend to mess with the Contrast and 'Warm'ness of the photo. I also am a stickler for fixing little things on the models (hair, eyes, etc.)

Please forgive my editing technique on their eyes, I haven't had time to really blend and work on them.

Although I did not get to work with Desirae very much that day, she was very nice and did a great job.

Well, it did all depend on their schedules as well. I think we chose great models for the M3 shoot, they were the same height, somewhat same hair color, blue eyes, I think they complimented each other well.

Though I was busy yakking most of the afternoon with the car owner, the models parents or boyfriends etc I did manage to grab a few shots here and there. Would have been better with a little more attention and a flash, but hey thats what I had Patrick there for.

Look like good pics to me. I like the high road that was taken too (they're not in 98% naked). Adds class. I don't really dig string bikini stripper-like models in car pics. Boring.
Some chicks dressed up with good fashion sense and a little skin is much better IMO.

Well, we seemed to think they went pretty well. Certainly, took more of a fashion turn with the M3 and these girls, which makes for a nice change of pace from our previous shoots.

I was talking about myself. It was hotter than hell and I just wanted to get home after we left the car show. I'm not that good yet so I was just being a tad hard on myself and Rob.

Haha, thats pretty funny. Patrick was the photographer who shot this, so he was just being funny. Guess it was sort of an inside joke.

Not really an inside joke... Patrick said it best. "Sarcasm doesn't travel well on the net."
But I think Patrick did an amazing job. and for someone that just wanted to go home after the show. It took his wife a little bit to get him to leave the photoshoot after the models left.
:nworthy:Sorry man but you're an awesome photographer. Thanks again. I just can't thank you enough.:nworthy:

Good pics, Although I have to say for some reason I have NEVER found the women that your rag uses atractive WHAT SO EVER. But hey thats my taste/liking.
I think a few of the later pics looked washed out. There are allot of ways to enhance photographs in Photoshop. It all depends on the orig image. Digit Magazine is ALWAYS giving tips on color matching and enhancing photos.
If I may suggest find better backgrounds. I dunno if this was a test shoot/playing around or what, but you have to find better backdrops. I like when women are dressed to theme when shooting with a car, maybe clothing to off set the color of the car, or if the car is light enough maybe to match the car... just something to make the car and the woman stand out. A regular M3 wont catch many eyes, unless the women are drop dead hot. In this case well.. its a perfect example. I like the interior shots of the girls..
Play with some out of focus stuff too. Maybe focus ona part of the interior and let the girl just be there yet out of focus, and vise versa. Sport Compact has a new feel and look, C16 Magazines photography is Amazing.
Great shots over all.. keep it up. I always enjoy the car shots.

She does have a point.. I agree, but were all entitled to our own opinions.
In addition.. I dont think I've ever seen a WOMAN in your photography. Use a WOMAN !

Even in test shoots..you have to be professional. (I'm reffering to the reflection)

I've been doing some form of art since I was 10 or so...from playing trumpet, tuba, making stained glass panels, glass beads, photography, graphic design, whatever and you're 100% correct. Art is subjective and there's no way you can please everyone. If you're happy with the end result than who gives a shit what other people think.
Hell I had people on another board bitching about the angle of some of my mudding shots. Needless to say I didn't really care and to make things even better, I've already sold some of the shots. So there in lies the beauty of art...some people hate it while others love it and are willing to spend money on it :-)
