An assortment of stuff I've done/taken that I am drawn to or just like. I can hear the crickets chirping now :)

I really like that subway shot and the last drawing. That last drawing reminds me of a naked lady, not sure if thats what you were going for

Thanks for checking them out.

The naked woman was what the drawing turned into. It started out (as usual for me) with just some random curves drawn with no intention. A lot of people seem to see the drawing as 2 separate ones and not see the woman. Kind of weird. "I see a woman on the right part of the drawing." :) Fine by me.

Very interesting drawings... I particularly like them, not a big fan of the photos or paintings, in general I'm not a big fan of art at all (could be because I'm color-blind and can't see most shades), but I really like those 3 black and white drawings you did. Please post more if you have them. :)

I really like the tunnel shot.

Fair enough :) Here are two more. Sorry for the huge size.

Another "no real goal" drawing that kind of turned into some weird microscopic creature you might find in really deep waters or something...

The next one is the most recent. I found I was starting to dislike the intensity with which I was drawing in my sketch book. I was focusing so hard on what I was doing that my eyes would completely wear out in about 30 minutes to the point I couldn't continue. Not cool. So I decided to take things to a larger scale one day with some cheap poster board and a few different size Marks-A-Lot markers :)

For what it's worth, the "paintings" are actually unedited photographs. I like finding colors or patterns I like, then taking pictures of them with a low shutter speed while moving the camera to try to compose the colors and stuff the way I want them to show up. It's pretty fun and "free". I'm not real big on still-life photography -- I have enough rigidity in my life as it is.

Those are all I have for now. It's been a few months since I've drawn.

I really like the tunnel shot.
It's probably my favorite of my stuff. Thanks.

Looks like you are well on your way to having your own style, from what I know of at least. That tunnel shot is so "deep"

The drawings look really good, I like the first one. I'd like to see if you could draw something like that with a name in it. The name being hidden, but if you look at it right you would be able to see it, thats what I am looking to get for a tatoo with my daughters name in it. Let me know if that is something you could draw up, I just want something that looks original.

Thanks people. I am just glad there are people checking this stuff out (mine or others'). It's icing on the cake that some of you feel some of it too.

BTW, if anyone ever feels like "they totally can't draw" but wishes they could, I'm willing to help you out with the basics. I'm patient and can at least give you the rundown on perspective, shading, some ideas to loosen you up and not be so critical of your own stuff, etc. Art isn't a contest. Basic drawing skills are NOT difficult if you commit to learning them a little and practice a little. Most people are too self-critical and impatient, giving up VERY easily. If you're interested, don't be shy. No pressure, no cost, no obligation to me.

4dorteg: PM me her name and I will see what I can come up with over time (I'm assuming this is not something you are looking to do in the next few weeks?). No guarantees.

Here are two I did in 1989 (High School) :) Last ones I have to share other than some more B&W doodles.
