Haha, glad you had a great time Chris!. In case anyone hasnt figured it out from the watermarks, Chris is one of the Down Shift Photographers and covers all the goings ons in the Denver Metro area. These pics are right on par with the awesome ones he grabbed of the AMA series motocross @ Pikes Peak a few months back. Certainly on his way to becoming one of the preimenent photographers of Denver...all that and the boy still finds time to be a grad student in architecture!

Looks like you got a good close spot. That head on drift shot is nice, those are hard to get at times.

Great spot for the shots! Looks like you're on your way to have 2-3 camera bodies and some nice L lenses (going pro) lol

I would've killed to have an extra body this weekend .. constantly switching from the 70-200 w/ 1.4 to the 17-40 got rather annoying after a while. I started to envy the hard card guys w/ 2-3 bodies and the gaint 400 mm f/2.8 L lenses

luckily (or unluckily however you see it) most of the other photogs left by the time the drifters got a chance at teh track ... it was really only me and maybe 2-3 other guys there in the corners they'd do the most drifting

Nice, I really like the Jaq shots
Wow beautiful shots.
I am in awe of some of the racing photos I have seen here in Tampaforums.
For people who have never tried to take action pictures, especially at high speed, they have no idea how hard it is to get a shots like these.
I also admire the professionalisim and knoledge of comments in this forum.

Nice shots.... I thought downshift was a sponsor on Sabastiens car as the watermark is aligned on the side pod. BTW, Sebastien has a house in New Tampa.
