Hey all im getting the 75% bright futures. Want to know if the check is sent directly to me or to USF. I also have florida pre-paid so thats out of the way. Id like to pocket this money.

oh no im fine, I already have florida pre-paid in effect. This scholarship is just a source of income for me. Id just like to know when to expect it.

i have the 100% scholarship, and they deposit my tuition amount in my checking account and then the school takes it right out. thats how it works for me

When I had it, I paid my tuition in full, then I think I got reimbursed the 75%. I think. That was 5 or 6 years ago.

I have prepaid plan as well as 75% Bright Futures but because florida prepaid plan only covers tuition, Bright Futures is used a litlte bit and the rest is issued to you in the form of a check after the first week of school.

If you have direct deposit with USF it will automatically post to your bank account, if not it stays in your USF account and USF mails you the check of the remaining balance.

Yeah, I have the same thing and you get a check sent to you. I thought it was going to go to my parents, since they are the ones that paid the pre-paid... but I got a check in my mailbox at USF (I was living in a dorm) for the extra $$. :) Good times!

good news. Board of Edu. just recieved my test scores and ive been bumped up to 100% scholarship... Fuck yeah.

That's sweet. If you take a good class load (15 or 18 credits) expect nearly 2000 a semester. 12 credits is more like 1500.
