Question about federal aid

I applied for it for Spring next year. How soon do they tell you if you will recieve it or not?

When I did my financial aide, they told me about 30 minutes after the application was faxed in. Usually if you don't hear anything, they let you know right away. So if you haven't heard anything in like a week, you probably got it. And you should start recieving your statements 4-8 weeks after it has been approved. Also what kind of loan/pelgrant did you apply for, that kind of information helps also.

i'd say it depends. i applied mid-august and didn't receive it until late november and didn't get the other half until march. this was at HCC DM. they are incredibly and utterly horrible at their jobs. i had to hound them for months to get money from them. i'm in s. fla now attending pbcc and got everything, from start to finish, accomplished in one week.

i heard for them to be able to pull it up in the system at hcc it was going to take 2 weeks after i filled it out

Mines not for this fall it's for Spring. I wanna find out but everytime I check on the website or they check at SPC it just say it's processed. Kinda wanna make the decsion if I am going to move and go to UF or not.
