i logged in and got the pop-up notifying me of receiving a PM. i click OK to open in a new window, and a PM pops up that i sent out previously. now it shows 1 unread PM and i can't clear that. i've cleared cookies, so i'm assuming the problem lies on the TF/TR database rather than on my computer.

samething happens to me. i was gonna make a thread about it just now :lol: i always get a new pm but its from myself and its what i sent to someone like 3 days ago

Are you guys getting any automated messages from TF? Either someone adding you to their buddylist or requesting you to update you profile?

I added a function to update PM counters when a message is sent from our automated system, so we'll see if that fixes the issue.

I just started receiving a msgbox when I open TF that I have a new message from myself. It was a message that I SENT to someone else. When I go to my PM's the msg decribed in the msgbox is not there. I have removed all but two PM's and those are like a month old.

Actually, I got rid of it. I deleted all the PMs and it went away.

the temporary solution is to delete one pm, at least for me. It doesnt matter which one either, i can delete one from my sent box, inbox etc
