does anyone know of some consistently cheaper bookstores in the area? I'm waiting to get books until after the first week of classes and was wondering where to go out of all the bookstores. I want to cash as much bright futures money as possible!

Books and More or Grays are both cheaper than buying books on campus. I think Gray is only for USF though. I know that there is a Books and More for HCC and USF.
You may also want to check online at half.com they usually have pretty cheap books too.

Go online. Check places like amazon.com. Look for used books online. I wish I could give you more info but I myself am just starting to buy online after chunking quite a bit of cash at the university book store.

Amazon.com, Half.com, etc. if you can wait that long to get your books shipped to you. If you prefer to buy in person and need them right away, I like Gray's on Fletcher and BBD near Target. Gray's is ALWAYS cheaper than the USF bookstore, offers more used, and they are really friendly.
