I am going for my Bachelor's in English concentration in literature. You can do just about anything. Really, you can. You can write scripts for t.v. and movies, you can work in advertising, you can write for a magazine....this list gets kind of long. But you should get the idea. I want to go into the peace corps and write about it and stuff. The way I look at it, this degree doesn't limit you to one thing. You can apply it to many things.

great for law school. You can teach, and like the previous poster stated advertising and scripts.

i'm thinking i'd like to be a writer... be it books or magazines or scripts, it's bound to be better than delivering pizza for the next 10 years.

I thought I'd be a journalist for a large part of my childhood, but when I tried it out by writing for the school newspaper I found that deadlines are a bitch and I'd never make it in the field. I'm not a high stress kinda guy- I want a more relaxed work environment.
