TAMPA HELPS

Come show your support this Saturday and help aide the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Join The American Legion, The Bayshore Patriots, BSA, TampaForums.com, TampaRacing.com, local schools and churches and Mason Dixon for a spaghetti lunch and dinner. Jim Jones the One Man Band will be there to provide the entertainment.

Minimum $5 donation

Location: American Legion Post 5
Address: 3810 Kennedy Blvd; Tampa, Fl 33609 (Corner of Kennedy and Dale Mabry)
Date: Saturday Sept. 3rd
Time: 11am until 6pm

They will also need some volunteers to help cook some of the food, clean off tables, etc. If you can lend any time to help out ask for Rosemary when you are there.

Great idea! Each time I watch the news I can't help but want to do something for them. Money is the best thing we can donate to the Red Cross so get as many people as you can to come out! They need all the donations they can get.

Thanks to those that came out and made a donation and to those that brought out their cars to help showcase the site. Also a big thanks to Janien for not only bringing her car out but for also showing up early to help out and staying for a while even after Frances and I had to leave for a bit.

I wasn't able to get a total on how much we made today but I know we made over a $1000 on preorders that were delivered early in the day. When I find out I'll post it up.
