quite a few of the girls in the attention whores forum, located on tamparacing, think the forum would do better if it were moved to tampaforums (it has died out considerable since the tr/tf split). i'd like to ask that a link at least be added to the "general" section of tf, even if it simply routes the user to tr like the link for gcc does.

We've been thinking of how best to handle it...whether it should be shared or just two seperate forums.....still haven't decided the way we want to handle it.

I posted about this in the AW forum before we even created a TF and got a very negative response from the forum members when i asked about putting it on here.

We are considering doing an AW forum on here, just not exactly sure how we are going to do it yet.

dude, i don't think that's true at all. i know there were a lot of different opinions voiced in that thread.

and anyway, the fact remains that SINCE the split, we've been dying. i think that people who were opposed to moving the forum previously might reconsider out of self-preservation now.

obviously people without access won't be able to see it, but for those that can, you'll notice that NOBODY voted for the first option (keep the forum on tr only). everyone else voted for an option that involved an aw on tampa forums.

so... i rest my case.

Rather then share a forum I decided to try two seperate ones...my feelings personally is that the Attention Whores on TR will fail now that the females have an off topic site to post on. I also didn't want new, non-car related females to be scared off if they register on TF and see a bunch of chicks talking about cars.

We'll see...it's a working solution that we can monitor and test as we go.

Plus it was the overwhelming vote in the original thread made a while back...6 - 2 in favor of two seperate forums.

thanks billy! i just noticed the new forum just now. i think this is a great solution. and yes, i definitely don't think aw has a chance now.
