its all speculation right now. They probably will tear it down, and then the team may be sold to sandiego, which has already talked for years about giving its team to Los Angeles. The LA Chargers and the San Diego Saints.

That, or they could try to make a home in Baton Rouge and be the Louisiana Saints, if theyre that intent on keeping the team at home.

Who Cares About Football?

Because of Hurricane Katrina, the New Orleans Saints might have to play their home games in San Antonio or Houston.

Because of this storm, LSU and North Texas, Tulane and Southern Miss, and some other college games have been called off. Because of this storm, schools in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama will have to look at playing their games elsewhere or "chucking" their season. And, because of this storm, some college bowl games in these areas might not take place.

And...who cares!!!

If you're all out of sorts because the Saints, Bayou Bengals or Green Wave can't play, you're pretty messed up!

You should be upset that people in this part of the Deep South are without homes, power, food, transportation, and in some cases, hope. You should be upset that there's a species of man out there who would actually prey upon a disaster area by looting from their friends and neighbors.

By the way, just where are you going to plug in those electronics when most of the area is underwater and without power? And, for those that stole guns, how wise is it to fire on the National Guard that's trying to help evacuate you?

To some, a "Hurricane" is a football player from Miami. To others, a "hurricane" is a fancy, red cocktail from Pat O'Brian's on Bourbon Street. But, to most today, a hurricane is a natural reminder of what can happen when you take life for granted.

It brings out the best...and worst of us.
