USF Calendar Question

This is the academic calendar posted at the registrar's website....
now my question is: The two dates of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Are these days off?? (oct 4, 13) ??

August 2005 - July 2006

August 12 - Friday Summer B, last day of classes
August 13 - Saturday Summer Commencement, Tampa
August 29 - Monday Fall, first day of classes
September 5 - Monday Labor Day Holiday
October 4 - Tuesday Rosh Hashanah
October 13 - Thursday Yom Kippur
November 11 - Friday Veteran's Day Holiday
November 24 & 25 Thanksgiving Holiday
December 9 - Friday Fall, last day of classes
December 10 - 16 Final Exam Week
December 17 - Saturday Fall, Tampa Commencement
December 26 - Monday Christmas Holiday

well damn.....why put only "jewish" holidays on the official calendar? just thought it was kind of odd
