Feel free to stop by Lillians in downtown lakeland, located on Main street between Kentucky and Massachusetts Avenues. No cover, they're implementing drink specials starting this week, open til 2am, great bartending staff, large atmosphere.
My coworker and good friend Jason, and usually one or two other DJ's, spin the best music around, usually some hip-hop, booty, dance, and other club classics. sometimes some good trance and progressive gets thrown in the mix too.
Upstairs is smaller, but more intimate. Two pool tables and a more loungy atmosphere accompanied by usually 2 DJs up there who spin a more House/Progressive stuff, really good music.
Also, the other two main downtown bars are around the corner and are also no cover, so alot of back and forth goes on with the locals. Out of the two, Molly's Irish pub is a good relaxed atmosphere with plenty of room and MANY MANY fine irish and imported beers on tap.
So anyone local, come out and have some fun and make some friends, I'm usually there with people. Usually fri and sat have shennanigans, but if you're too late for those or out of town, feel free to stop by and see what lakeland has to offer.
