Depends, once you start reaching a lot more final tables, you will make a lot more money than ring.

i just got a poker nickname last night, and i think it's awfully fitting... my friend mike dubbed me "johnny rebuy"
so i guess i like ring games. also rebuy tourneys.

thats true, but with a tournament you really need to be dealt cards b/c the blinds are increasing. in cash games you can just wait around for cards and not have to worry about the blinds

Not always about the cards my friend. :D
I've gotten to many final tables with no cards the whole tourny.

this is too true. ive won plenty of tourneys without getting dealt cards. its all about the selective aggression and how consistant you are with betting. if all you have shown down are great cards and you cant for some reason get anything going with your cards, you have to make moves and thats the best time to. you just have to play for it at the right time.

but as far as making money, i like playing SnG & MTT's. im not really much for sit-n-go because it seems everytime i make my hand, ill get sucked out and lose all my money.

 Only when I get pissed.
But I asked myself, why am I going to cash out when I will put the money right back in?

I pass the Hard Rock each night at least 1 or 2 times heading out to do cases in Lakeland. I keep wanting to stop in for "one hand", but that won't ever happen.
So ya, I can understand not wanting to cash out. :-P

anylonger then about 2 mins the software at work updates my current location.
LOL, what I am saying, is I couldn't stop while at work. Which is the only time I pass by the Hard Rock. I will get over there on my own time one of these days and stay for a bit longer than 1 hand.

Sorry about that.
Well, to get back on topic, I need to know what the acronyms stand for in the threads title.

SnG = Sit n Goes (Single table touries and they also have up to 5 table SnGs).
MTT = Multi Table Tournament. (Blinds go up and so on)

Granted I haven't played for real money, I can say at this point that I have no interest in SnGs. Find myself really enjoying the MTTs. I place within the final 4 90% of the time. However, once I start playing with real cash, that will more than likely change.

Yes if you are placing within the final 4 90% of the time, you are better than PROs.
SnGs are just like MTTs but only 1 table, they are easy to take down. :D
