Being ranked at around 60-70th and having to end up 10th to make the kind of payout you got by it freezing is definitely a lucky turnout for you. If you had played through and made a couple moves and then gotten lucky you still can't guarantee 10th by any means. ;) But glad you got the better end of the deal.

Doubtful, how would they make more money?

The prizepool is shown and they give you the math structure of how they paid everyone out and it equaled the prizepool?

They lose money on this because they even give you the rake back.
