BrightHouse is looking for a few good people to do installs in cable and phone. You must be able to climb in an attic and work in the sun. It can be hard dirty work. Also you have to do service calls on both and pick up jobs from contractors that drop thier route or miss calls. You will have 5 to 10 jobs a day to start when you get past the 90 days. There are lot of good things to go with this job like a take home van and free cable. I make about 2000 to 2200 every 2 weeks. If you want to know more just let me know.

I would like to know more about drivers license record as well...\
EDIT: Also, is this for BH direct or for a subcontractor? Do we need to provide tools/ladder or does the sub/BH provide? Any guarantee the route count will increase after 90 days? Any aerial work or is it mostly DB?

I'm actually interested in seeing what BH offers someone with VOIP experience. I know a lot of cable and telco companies are pushing it. Got any ideas on this? I have the experience to fill a level 4/level 5 engineering position which would be mostly infrastructure/system management and architecture.

This is for BH direct. We provide all tools. Routes will be between 4 and 15 jobs per day. Right now we ar doing 7 to 9 jobs a day. Not discos and recos but good paying jobs. You get paid by the hour and also by the job. You do get OT and will also get $125 for being on call till 10:00pm on your week of on call. If you get called out then you will also get 2 hours min. It is a mix of MDU, Aerial, and Undergound.

For that do you have any certs? because soon we will be going to commercial PBX systems. You also might be a good fit at the NOC.

Hey Pm me some more details aboutr this job where is it based from ?and when can i start ?!!!
It is based out of Brandon but the MLK office is looking for Service techs.
There is a Background check so be honest when filling out the form. When it comes back and everything is ok then you will get called in to start. takes anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks if you have lived out of state.

Now if anyone does put in an app you need to let me know by PM and give me your name the day you turn it in. That way I can get it and take it to the Install Lead. I help make the process go quicker and I have a good bit of pull there.

Best thing to do is go into the office and get a app. Fill it out and let me know when you turn it in. Make sure that you put installer on the "job applied for" line.

about 7 months. But I did this as a contractor and for the Army. There are 3 guys who are like most and didn't know a fitting from his ass and I trained them and they make almost as much. They make around $100-$200 less than me.

what is considered "piece work" ? Looks like it's a big chunk of your paycheck.
Also, looks like it's 6.50 per/hr. Is overtime almost guaranteed? Just thinking that maybe the new guys will only get 40hrs and not get anywhere near that pay..
Thanks for answering all the questions in this post.

Yes Peice work is a big part but OT is too. Like I said If you are too lazy and don't want to work then No you wont make that much. But if you want to work then you have the means to make more than me. You are only limited by yourself.

If there's an idea in your head, it's in solitary confinement. Are you always this ignorant, or are you making a special effort today? A long period of non-posting would be most welcome on your part. Oh well, as the late Douglas Adams said: "You live and learn. At any rate, you live."

The proof is in the way you work.
