How do you think the rest of the season will pan out for the Cadillac? Do you think he will fizzle off, or level off onto an expected rookie year, or continue to dominate for 1200+ yards?

i think if he stays healthy, he'll have a 1000 yard season. i seriously hope gruden lowers his carries per game though. that's a lot of wear and tear to put on a running back. what he have in the packer game? almost 40 carries?

37 carries for 158 yards... ya the carries definetly need to get lowered
with 13 games left in the season, unless he gets injured I think its really difficult for him to not go over 1200 yds. If he continues his current pace, he'll run for 2200 yds! But I do believe he'll hit the rookie wall at some point and slow him down. If he doesnt, we have the next Barry Sanders

It's hard to think he can keep going like that all season... but he seems to get stronger as the game goes :whoa:

If they keep playing him this way, I don't think he will die off til the end, he is young and in shape and like Bucsfan said, he gets stronger and stronger each game.

i think he is looking at a 1500 yards + season, I am not a huge Bucs fan but that kid is the real deal. Plus the Bucs o-line isnt even in the top 10 best in the league and he is dominating.

I think he will continue as he has, but I think the defences now recognize who they have to stop and will focus on him alot more.

Might begin to crack that top 10... they are a LOT better than last year... 3 new starters on the line from last year.

They'll focus on him, but that will just free up Galloway, Clayton, and Alex Smith. Tampa Bay is becoming balanced on offense now!

+1 This is so true. It already happened last weekend.
I say:
good running game = good passing game
therefore ......
keep feeding Williams the ball = keep winning games
And another thing.... our offensive line is kicking ass with the top running game. It appears the experts were wrong during the preseason when they incorrectly predicted that the O-line would not be very good.
If they keep using him so much he is going to get burnt out and worn out quick. Just like Eddie George and Ricky Watters did. They were good for like 5 seasons.

This is a game of intensity with only one opponent, the current season. When fighting off your opponent, if you find that your left uppercut seems to be unstoppable to your opponent, then by god I would bust you ever time I could until my hand numbed or you fall upon my feet you bitch. This is the first order of business, you can leave the statistical results for the doubters to count up after the game, work, and effort has been put in. Go Caddy go!

the average career for an nfl player is 4 years. Running backs are productive up until around age 31-32 then a dramatic drop off and/or rise in injuries come about. So what, are we gonna baby him for the amount of money we gave him? Ride him while he's young, win a championship if at all possible.
PS i thought you hated the bucs?

uh well lets see the facts best rookie running back ever in the nfl going by first 3 games. he is running behind a not so great new offensive line. he averages 8 yards per carry in the fourth which is why he gets the carries. he has sealed 2 victories for us. I think he will do nothing but dominate unless he gets injured or our defense gets us behind and we have to throw the ball which hopefully none of those will happen.

exactly... once defenses start putting 8 in the box, galloway and clayton with single coverage? passing game will start flying.
