Guavaween 05 is upon us. Oct. 29th. So who all is going? And who is going to dress up? We usually get there around 4pm and party all night.

I worked in a resteraunt in Ybor during guavaween. Lots of fun, only even more old people come every year dressed like 17th century whores, and their husbands look like prince pimps.

It's a huge party. All the local radio stations have concerts and well....it's Ybor. Lots of booze.

Come down early and leave early. We are going to be there probably around 1 or 2 in the afternoon.

Yea it can get pretty crowded but I have Guavaween down to a science and avoid being in the major crowds for any length of time.

Oh yea there are plenty of latexed sluts to go around. :lol:

I have a serious question... does it get overly crowded? At times I have anxiety with extremely large crowds if I can't breathe. Since I'm short I feel like I'm being smothered. I know that sounds weird, but are there times when it's so crowded you can't move or breathe? If so, are there clubs to go into to hide away? haha.

Crowded - guavaween - Nawwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Regina - you will be lost in a sea of THOUSANDS of people in massive costumes, with very little room to breathe, let alone walk!

Watch your wallets, women, and backs!

Guavaween can be a good time if the city cleans it up, but in my experience it just attracts more trash than treasure.

I can recall times ive been walking down 7th at guavaween or gasparilla and its been shoulder to shoulder, chest to back crowded. usually you can go off to 8th ave away from the clubs to catch some space for a minute.
