DO they play 1 team all year that our local Highschool teams couldn't beat? I'm sure they'd lose to almost every SEC & ACC team, with the exception to the really shitty ones :lol: THis, I think is the most overrated team in sporst today...What's everyone else think?

I think they are by far the best team in college, they have great talent at every skill position. Reggie Bush is awsome, Matt Lienart.awsome and so on. I dont like USC I am a FSU fan, but I dont think there is a team that could beat them.

BS...If you put USC in any other conference they wouldnt be #1. Im not saying they're not a great team, they just have a cake schedule and conference. If you put them in the SEC or Big 10/12 or shit even the ACC or Big East they wouldnt stand a a chance at going undefeated. I already know who's going to the national championship this year because thier schedule penciled them in. Notre Dame and Arizona State are the only teams worth thier time, and even then its a long shot. Great team no doubt, but they arent even challenged all year. Look at Florida for example, they play at least 6 top 20 teams, four of which are in the top ten, two in the top 5. Now look at USC...TWO RANKED TEAMS, Non of which in the top 15. You can say thanks to the BCS system for taking strength of shedule out of the equation.

You have completely missed the point. What teams have they proved themselves against to get such great nominations. The only team they have played is Oklahoma in the championship game last year, and lets face it they (oklahoma) shouldnt have been there and they proved to the nation how fucked up the BCS system is by getting blown out. USC should have played a dominant Auburn team or a Utah, who USC WOULD have struggled against. The reason they blow out every team they play is because every team they play is crap. Name a strong defense they have played. How many times has Leinhart been sacked? What kind of pass rush or blitz in that conference has the chance of making any kind of difference. The reason they look so fucking good is because they play such second hand teams. And yes, Florida would have a very good chance at beating USC. We have a solid defense and an amazing offense that could beat any team in the Pac10. Im not saying its guaranteed, but hell even Florida State could give them trouble. All Im saying, is give USC some competition from the top 10 every once in a while and you wont see blowout after blowout.

USC is over rated, but it won't be exposed until the National Championship game! Auburn got screwed last year at a shot for the National Championship game b/c of preseason rankings. Oklahoma should not have been at that game.

FSU beat a 9th ranked UM and a 17th ranked BC. UF beat a 5th ranked UT and lost to a 20th ranked Alabama. if you dont think miami and BC are good teams, then there is something wrong with you. florida has only beaten one ranked team this year. you guys are a half game behind vandy right now in the east :lol: and when is VT going to pull a fast one on us? in the ACC championship game? let's see if UF makes it to the SEC championship game. in the two games against a ranked team chris leak averaged 183 yards, 0 touchdowns, and threw 2 ints. how is that spread offense working? :lol:

I disagree. USC probably has been the best team by far in college football the past three years (including this season). If they were put in a tougher conference, they probably would get beat though, this year. I really would have liked to see the past two years' team in the SEC or ACC.

Also, I don't give any respect to the championship game last year where USC hammered OU, because OU sucked. I'm not saying Auburn should have been there, but OU, and the Big 12, sucks ass and has for a long time. Texas is the only team worth any hype out of that ENTIRE conference. Putting OU in that game looked more like a sacrificial lamb than anything else; honestly, it reminds me of putting Nebraska in the 2001 Rose Bowl for Miami. Only Oregon or UF should have played Miami that year. I think UF would have won that game too, unbiasedly.

That being said, it's long overdue for a playoff.

Actually, the defense is USC's biggest weakness. They have talent there, but a lot of young talent. Also, they are not as talented in the front 7 as they were in the past two years. Their back 4 are not exactly the best in the country either. They are talented on defense, but certainly not the best at ANY position on defense. On offense however, well, that's a different story.

I would really like to see them play a real physical football team like Tennessee, Alabama, UF, Miami, or (insert physical football team).

FSU's offense is okay at best and their defense is one of the best in the country and that is the only reason they have a chance at making it to the acc championship game. Big Ten is not more competitive than the ACC(Vatech, Miami, & FSU are in the top ten), or SEC (Tenn, Al, GA top ten)and Pac10 (USC and Cal in top ten) Big ten(OSU the only in top ten and they have a loss) the SEC right now is probably the toughest conference in college football.

FSU's defense is one of the top defense's in the country, read some stats and compare. I didnt say FSU was a National Championship team but that their defense is national championship caliber. If FSU's offense was as good as their defense I would be think champs but its not so I am not.

solid defense????? They give up over 400 yds a game! they give up over 23 pts a game!!!! I have no doubt Charlie Wies will bring ND back to the glory days, but they are no where near a powerful team. They have a good offense, but defense is average at best. Yeah, I believe OSU would beat ND. I believe they would've beat Texas if Tressell would not have switched QB's back and forth. Now that Troy Smith is back as the starter, the offense will roll once again. I actually believe OSU will be back in the National Championship game playing against Texas. If you read my other post I said UF had a bad game(not just a half) against Bama, I also said I believe UF is a better team than bama. I dont think they are taking anyone they play serious. I think they are just going thru the motions, but this weekend will be a true test if ND jumps to an early lead they are not a team that USC can just come back at will. I truly believe they are the best team in the nation and I think they will trounce Texas and the only teams I believe have a chance in derailing them is Va tech, FSU or UGA. But thank you for finally admitting to what a GREAT offensive team they have.

Lets add FSU to that list because by the end of the season the Gators can have 4 losses. I think UGA is the real deal and the best the SEC has to offer. I hate to admit it but the next few years the UF/FSU rivalry is going to be intense because they are both going to be very talented but I am happy because FSU is the youngest team in college and are already coming around they might be making a USC type of run at the championship

I truly believe they are the best team in the nation and I think they will trounce Texas and the only teams I believe have a chance in derailing them is Va tech, FSU or UGA. But thank you for finally admitting to what a GREAT offensive team they have.


Lets add FSU to that list because by the end of the season the Gators can have 4 losses. I think UGA is the real deal and the best the SEC has to offer. IMO UGA is better than Bama, Bama played a perfect game against UF and everyone is basing their judgement on that performance. UF isnt an elite team in the sec right now LSU, UGA, and Bama are all better than UF. Dont base your opinion on how good Bama is just because they beat UF.

I wouldnt count UF out so easily if I were you. Yeah we have our problems now, but come Nov I guarantee you a great game.
