I dated one guy on and off for a yr and he used this line to get back with me the 6th time. Or was it the 7th time. I lost count. I know... I know... I'm stupid.

Dude, girls take the meaning of love very seriously. I would tell my old female friends that i love them, and they would actually get mad about it.
"I dont want you say i love you me ever again. You dont know what love means."
Ever seen that one episode of That 70's Show? Casey keeps telling Donna that he loves her, and at the end he was like "You know, sometimes we say stuff that we dont mean?"

Guess I shouldn't reply to stuff like this since people would rather make smart ass comments to me than reply to the thread themselves. If you don't know my situation... I suggest you keep your mouth shut.

I'm just saying, people don't need to be so rude. "You're pretty stupid" if they don't know the situation.

Ok, I will give you that. That might be a bit harsh. But your "situation" is more than likely "guy" related? Seeing a trend in my threads? Kinda similar to the problems you have had in the past with guys? Pattern?

I usually date assholes. Go figure... Too trusting of people when I'm new somewhere.

I hated my dad growing up. Not a bad relationship... just no relationship. We still don't really talk. Ok Dr. Phil...
Just so you know where the source of your choice in men stems from, that is all.

I fell for it once. I got hurt so badly because of it I never took it seriously again.
When Patrick told me he loved me I started crying, not sure why... but I wanted to make sure he loved me before I let my heart wander off again.

No. Never. Fell for it. I honestly think every guy who tells me they love me really did. Cause they all still fucking call me.

Only 2 of my exs told me they loved me. They're the only ones to say it. Any other guy I've been with hasnt done that. Thank god, cause if they did, I would've had to smack them

My ex still says she "loves me". I told her she doesn't have the right to say that shit anymore. She gets pissed as fuck when I don't say it back. What's up with that?

I can only remember one time that this has actually happened to me. I laughed so hard when he said the shit that I probably gave him insecurity issues....
I was just baffled that this actually happens and that woman atually fall for it.

i've had one that did and one that definitely did not. the one that didn't i had known for a while but rarely ever saw. the last time i saw her we were lying naked on the floor and to make a long story short, she wouldn't let me put it in until i said it. we somehow got to using word-play and i said, "i'm just a dog looking for a cat" and she replied with, "well, at least your honest" and we got to making love!

I've heard it 3 times, only said it back to one guy. Girls do take it seriously and you shouldn't throw it around. I don't think it helped them get in my pants anyways.

lots of guys have told me they love me, but that's really different than saying they're in love with me.
i guess i've heard that one a lot too, and i don't think any of them were lying to me, but i do think at least one of them was jumping the guy a bit on his feelings.
