Well, my highschool anthropology teacher, who is also a anthropology professor at USF, said that, not is exact words, "basically theres' only 3 races on this world; white, black, and asian." If you think about it generally, there's a big difference between asians, blacks, and whites.

The US Census does consider hispanics as their own race, and so does pacific islanders, and native americans. Hispanics are actually a mixture of white, native americans, and black. Blacks were sent to america to use as slaves. Some breed with white, some black, and native americans, some both as hundreds of years passed. You can think about many other kinds of people, like how the native americans came to america insearch of food through the Bering Strait from asia.

The definition of race is really difficult to nail down on. But it all doesn't matter because we all came from Mesopotamia. :) Well not really, but you know what i mean.
