Kaleidoscope Musichttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a377/djsoco/kaleidoscopemusic.gif on his back for years before starting his own label. I've personally been lucky to open-up one of his shows for him. Definetly gonna be a good show for sure!

yeah, it should be a good show. I've been telling everyone and their mother about it hoping I can get some people to go with me. He has some of his new stuff on his myspace page. I'm more familiar with his tracks that about two years old, but I can dig the new stuff.

I think I've played with Fixx up north before.... Not sure but the name is really familiar.

Is there a hardcore/gabber scene at all down here though?

To clarify a few things:

Fixx is now doing more "nuskool" style breaks, along with Keith Mackenzie, as KMFX. They have some AMAZING remixes that were done that should be out in the start of the new year.

Brian Van Dalen is an awesome DJ and producer, and a great friend of mine. He should get some notice on this as well.

Agent K is also a good friend, and a good DJ. He was at AMP this past Saturday, so if you weren't listening to 93.3 late night on Sat., you heard him playing.

I know that as well, he has just recently been making more nu-school trax but he is best known for his funky breaks

im still going strong you quitter. You know what your missing out on!? all the songs you like with a house beat pretty much get remixed into breakbeats. A break rides so much nicer then that same old house "thump thump thump thump" beat.

You should let me send you a few tracks sometime on AIM. I think you will be impressed with the level of production going into breaks right now. Got a few new tracks I would gamble to say you will really like.

Your a gambling man right? Ban me for a week if you dont like em. :D

I'm an ex hardcore/gabber dj... House was the opposite end of the spectrum for me. I dabbled into mashed up ragga and various IDM forms too..

Still got all my vinyl and tables here...
