I have no time to work out any more, working 8-8 almost every day has really put me in a bind. I think I'm gonna start lifting in the morning and doing cardio at night. Any cons to this?
I rather be tired at my second job then in the gym, so I think this is my best bet. Im prolly gonna have to have a nice breakfast before my workout and wake up a lot earlier, but thats ok with me. Anyone else workout in the AM?

I'd rather do cardio in the morning and lift at night. You'd get your metabolism up...

yea, which is what I was doing. But I'm so tired at the end of the day. And cardio at the end of the day is easier for me then hitting the weights for an hour or so. My work is about a mile away from home so a jog home will be some decent cardio.

I do the morning thing. Im up at 6am and in the gym at ~7am. I do construction, so Im tired as hell at the end of the day and the last thing I want to do is lift more heavy stuff, plus my off time varies.
I eat some breakfast and hit the gym.

Almost every mag. you read, do cardio in the morn, just like colby said. It raises your metabolism and then follow it up with eggs and toast, a piece of fruit with some water. Im a late night person. I work from 7:30 to 5. then go to school afterwards till 9:45 and eat dinner. So its like 12-1 o'clock I can do anything. Its a bitch and very hard to try to get a physique(sp) at the same time. yeah, and lots of sleep has to fit in there too! :)

but then, a lot of guys are seeing evidence that lifting weights amps up your metabolism for up to 48 hours, and most cardio for only 1-2 hours. what do y'all think of that?
